savi01
St. Maarten is always a sweet place to catch some good shots of low flying airplane on final approach, but why people stand RIGHT below/behind their path, I'll never know.

JBlack151
Dude: Come on babe let's stand against the fence 10 feet from a ridilculously huge powerful plane and I'll hold you between my arms. It will be amazing. Chick: I'm not sure that's a good idea. Dude: We're in St. Maarten, have a little fun. What's the worse that can happen......TRUST ME! Chick: Okay! GXPaycheck
I notice the boyfriend wasn't around much after the fall. I think the Jet Blue pilot might have been encouraging them (or looking for his meds)
GaryW
You can tell right at the end he really throttles it hard. That concrete curb really, really had to hurt like not damn tomorrow. Someone might be having some splaining to do Lucy

NathanJax
Been 3 or 4 times in the last few years. Always go to the bar/grill right there. Here's the wife and I back in Sept 2011. You can see the rocks/runway just behind me. Here's a video I took... You can see the rocks/runway just behind me. Here's a video I took... Great video. That must be awesome to set there and have them land almost right on top of you. I really would hate to stand at the fence when they take off. I have been next to F-14"s and F-18's when taking off. I know what kind of jet blast they have. Looks fun where you guys where at. 3PedalMINI
That incoming video is awesome! im sure the FAA would have a field day if they found out that pilot was taking video as he was landing haha I cant wait, Im going to st maarten this winter and cant wait to go there and stand right there at the planes take off and land. NathanJax
For anyone who's looking to go to St. Maarten and view the planes, my suggestion would be to search the flights going in and out that day. Find out when the big planes will be landing and make sure to go then. Especially if you want to see this. I couldn't tell you the times we've gone to St. Maarten on a cruise and when we get back to the boat, people are complaining because they didn't see the big planes. I asked them if they checked the flight times at all, and they look at me like I"m stupid....

ssbusdrvr
I liked the "Only an Airbus will call you a retard" Have one plane in the fleet we call LurchThe Automated Voice is a bit slurred and those autocallouts sound just like Lurch from the Adams Family. For anyone who's looking to go to St. Maarten and view the planes, my suggestion would be to search the flights going in and out that day. Find out when the big planes will be landing and make sure to go then. +1 If you look on the Sunset Bar and Grill's Website it has a flightschedule. It's been awhile since being there but didn't the old place have a board up with the flight arrivals?
