Jasssc Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 This car belongs to my neighbor who requested me to do his car after he saw how well mine came out. This car is awesome! It was custom made by a tuner company before he bought it. It is the only four door E46 M3. It has a custom supersprint exhaust, full KW Coilover suspension, and custom CSL style front bumper. He barely drives it and it sits under a cover in the garage unless he takes it to a show or special track days. He had just recently taken it to Chuckwalla Raceway. Wash with Adams soap Clay with detail spray Cleaned of exhaust tip with clay and All Purpose Cleaner Swirl & Haze Remover and Orange pad Fine Machine Polish and White pad Machine Super Sealant (cured for 18 hrs) Brilliant Glaze Americana Vacuum In and Out Spray VRT Final inspection with Detail Spray Now for the pictures!! After Wash Hood Before Trunk Before Some of the supplies It had these spots all over from track days Which were easily removed by clay After clay, looked closer underneath an LED light The dry carbon fiber on the front bumper was thoroughly coated a SVRT which worked amazingly! 50/50 shot, treated on the right. Exhaust all cleaned up After Shots!
Adamized Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 1of1 eh? That's pretty cool but that BMW looks like any other 3 series to me for some reason
AZGTO Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Looks great...seems like they just took a 4 door 3 series and swapped over a wrecked m3's goodies onto it. Cool either way though
3PedalMINI Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Nice job, HATE the new 4 door M3's. LOVE the E46 body styles though. Amaizing, i would give anything to have a good condition low millage 06 Laguna Seca Blue M3. IMO BMW ruined the 3 series with the e90/96, m3's looked even stupider. However, BMW got back to the aggressive look, "de-chickified" them and the new f30/f32 style is sick! Still a fan of the e46 style, and it will hard to be beat. but the new f30 body style is incredible. I cant wait to see what BMW does for the M3, spy shots put the coupe and the m3 to be simply amazing looking and very aggressive I have to agree with the above poster, looks like a wrecked m3 was smushed onto a 4door. Still cool though 1of1 eh? That's pretty cool but that BMW looks like any other 3 series to me for some reason  i wish we had a worship for audi, i LOVE them too, Im not just a BMW Fanboi
07RS4 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Nice job on the paint correction Jas! Don't mind the stabs at the car, to each is own.
davidg Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I love seeing a nice, clean BMW. Not my cup of tea to own, but I do turn my head. Pretty cool it's a custom four door, but I don't think non-BMW enthusiast would ever notice. Really did a turn around on the carbon fiber. Might be the answer to sanding and reclearing it. great work on a very nice car. Maybe he will send you more business.
Adamized Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 It really wasn't a stab at the car or his work, I just don't know enough about BMW's to realize thats a one of a kind car.
Diggerdan11 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Nice Job:cheers: I dont know why BMW did not offer the E46 M3 in a 4 Door, they offered it in the E36 and the current E90/92/93 so why not the E46? My question is do you know what has been done to make it a M3? It looks like one, but does it have all the engine/suspension/Transmission/Drive Line/ Electronics/ etc... that make it a true M3?
