07RS4
Finally broke down and got one with my last order...just for the car shampoo. One full pump from top to bottom = 1 oz exactly. No more measuring cup. Works great for filling up my foam cannon and my never to be used again foam gun. That is all.
LDM
Adam's 1 gallon pumps? Adam's Gallon Pump Dispenser Hey, does anyone use the Gallon Pumps for the less viscosity liquids? I want to jump on this weekend special, and I want to use the gallon pump for the MF detergent, but I don't want it to leak all over my wife's laundry room. I use the pump for the Car Shampoo only and it doesn't leak, but I've heard otherwise for the thinner liquids. Thanks for a quick reply. I know you already got a reply, but just to corroborate, I bought a gallon pump strictly for the MF Revitalizer and as said there are only a couple drops after you first pump it. Since each pump is about an ounce I figured that would be the best way to measure it out into the washing machine. As a side question, has anyone else had to cut down the suction tube to fit in the jugs? My pumps were too tall for the jugs so the tube had to be trimmed to fit. Not a big deal, but I figured they would've been sized for the Adam's containers.
savi01
Yeah this little Greenworks is just something for little stuff around the house, I'm hoping to pick up a more powerful one soon, but don't want to wait until then to try out this foam gun. Thanks for the replies!
dlee116
Would either of these pressure washers work with that foam lance? And would I need any other special equipment or attachments to make it work? Just check the return policy, and if you don't like the performance, take it back. Most electric pressure washers are going to be less than 2 GPM, most average around 1.6GPM or less. Unless it's a $$ unit. You will need a threaded fitting, that connects to your type of pressure washer. For example, if you get a Karcher, will will need a Bayonette style fitting. I'm going to get an electric soon, just because during the summer months I like washing at night, after the sun goes down, and the electric motor shuts off then the trigger is off...the gas ones are just too loud to be used in all situations. I'm getting the Karcher X series. UPDATE: I didn't get a Karcher X series, I got one from Home Depot, can't remember the name brand. Haha, just say this post and didn't want to be a liar

I'm gonna get killed again for this, but I purchased a couple of 1 gallon pumps a couple of years ago (from United States Plastic) and have used them for 3 different car shampoos of different viscosities, a rinseless wash and All Purpose Cleaner. When you make your last pump about 1 drop might residually come out of the pump (darn gravity). If you have something small under it there should be nothing to worry about, especially with the Adam's brand who guarantees satisfaction.

I'm assuming all the gallon pumps are relatively the same, so I can deal with a drop or two. I was thinking after I posted, I can get a small, rubber vacuum cap and put it over the end anyway!! Thanks man.

3PedalMINI
What sort of pressure washer do you guys have? I have a simple Greenworks 1500 psi 1.3 gpm, and noticed the min. recommended is 1500 psi at 2.0 gpm, but was wondering if it would really affect the performance? i have a trashmen 3000 psi one (less then a year old and is now held together with zip ties and duct tape ) Im not convinced that you need the pressure they require. what comes out of the nozzle isnt high pressure AT all. I would assume you would be fine with your little 1500 psi guy!

But it is kind of a pain to catch the threads on the jug with the outer ring. I got it though, you just don't have skillzzzz....

I have two, one for my MF Revitalizer and one that was bought as a spare, and here's the spare next to an empty jug. As you can see it's more than an inch longer than the bottle. 07RS4
Dave, how are you liking your foam cannon? Got it in the mail on Saturday during the 2-bucket on the RS and immediately took it out of the box and tried it out. Once it was dialed in (there are 2 settings, 1 on the nozzle, and 1 on top), I was almost laughing out loud it was foaming so much. I called the wife out while she was feeding the baby, and she just laughed. My son, wanted to try, then his friend, haha. I thought the Gilmour had foam...but after seeing what foam actually looks like, I would call that more like sudsy water:drool: I did the foam, rinse, foam, wash method. When I took the wash mitt to the paint after the second foaming, there was so much foam on the car I literally couldn't see what I was wiping. If I left the nozzle in place for more than a second or two, it would start foaming like shaving cream. Another plus, if you wanted to actually conserve soap, you could get like 3 vehicles out of it, but I was having to much damn fun to be honest. The container is 34oz, and I used 5 oz of shampoo and 24 oz of water. I left the rest so I could mix it up. Needless to say, I'm actually hoping it rains all week (which it's supposed to), just so I can use it again!!!

Works great for filling up my foam cannon and my never to be used again foam gun.
That is all.
