First Timer here

For a beginner like me, I figured its better to learn how to do it, rather than throw someone a couple hundred bucks to do it for me, something like this pretty much pays for itself and im able to detail a few friends cars here and there.

 

As a beginner is there any advice you would like to throw my way? I wash my car on a regular basis, but i havent done the intensive things like using a Polisher.

Which of the two do you recommend?? A few things I will be removing from either kits.

 

I will be using ONR because its by law in Calgary to not use soap, and my house isnt really all that hidden from everything. If it were id use soap anyways.

Welome to the forum Albert. Both kits are good Adams has really good detailing videos to teacher how to polish the write way. Just take your time with it.

What are the steps you guys do things??

 

I just read to wait 24 hrs before applying wax, can someone brief me in why things are done a certain way?

 

 

Thats my car. the sideskirts have like indents in them, how do you guys clean something like that? by handd? orrrr

For a begininer Everyone will suggest using the PC just bc you can't cause any harm to the paint.

 

 

The reason you need to wait 12-24 hrs before applying wax is because the MSS needs to cure. If you use the Spray sealant there is no curing time. You can apply wax right away

I thought about the PC, but then i was asking on another forum people said i should be fine using the flex. i have my moms beat up car to practise on and my dads.

 

Although i dont know how much my parents will care if i beat up the CR-V.
