Removing Road Strip Paint from Wheel Wells

icantdrive55

Question

What is safest, and best way to remove white road strip paint from the plastic wheel liners? I want to get them clean before I use the Undercarriage Spray from my last order. (I am expecting to be addicted to the stuff after first use LOL) Wife ran through paint with the Torrent right after the paint truck laid down the strips. Thanks in advance.

Since it's just the plastic inserts, have you tried some really fine steel wool? Just be careful around the paint. That stuff is SUPER strong due to it intended target.

DO NOT USE 3M adhesive remover on plastic.

I got some overspray on a license plate holder and under lights and it turned the plastic white where it splatered when i debadged a car. A quick hit of platidip covered it up but man it could have been much worse had some of it splattered on the lights. :willy:

APC, on in a foaming sprayer will work wonders
