How Do I Remove Excess Wax

pilatti1

Question

So I have an Mustang GT/CS with a balcl GT/CS stripe down the side of the car. I always seem to get wax along the ridge of the stripe so now I have white residue along the top & bottom of the stripe. What is the best way to remove it and also how do I avoid getting the wax along the stripe?

As always thanks for the help...

Try DS and apply with a MF towel, or if it is really hard to reach, a Qtip. If the DS does not work use an IPA/water mix.

To keep it off the stripe edges either tape the stripes or switch to QS. QS will not leave any residue.

I agree, it may take a lot of DS, but it will come off.

I have had great success by saturating a Trim and Lug Brush in WW and then brushing it out. It's up to you how to do it. The safest way is your fingernail.

The safest other way is to mask the lines off.
