JBlack151
I stopped by my good friends house on Friday afternoon to say hello. I see his white 2010 Acadia Denali is cleaned up. Before I walk to the door I had to inspect the truck closer just because I'm a freak like that. Rub the back of my hand along the paint and it doesn't feel too bad, but I can see some swirls and haze when I look closer and his tires look like they've been covered in baby oil or something since they are dripping wet. Here's where the story gets worse. After hanging out for a bit we decided to move out front where I begin to talk about his truck is finally clean. He says.... "Yeah, I took it thru the car wash yesterday but it didn't really look clean when I looked at it today. So I grabbed a bottle of FANTASTIC and a rag and cleaned everything real quick. Looks good right?" My detailing ears almost started to bleed! I quickly throw up my hands and interupt him. I asked him what he used just to make sure I understood him correctly. Yes he used Fantastic and a rag! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I begged him to just let me clean it next time for free and never do that again....NEVER!! After detailing my SS on Saturday I had to give him a hard time again so I sent him this picture of my drivers side door. The picture comment said the following. "This is how I make my truck look FANTASTIC!!!"

DaytonaJae
At least he didn't use AJAX with a Scotch Brite pad! Yeah Fantastik? holy moly. I would say that people like that give us detailers business, but in his case, he gives body shops business.
JBlack151
As a good friend I offered my services to properly clean up his Denali. He's a great friend and is always there if I need him. Plus he owns 3 pizza restaurants so free food is always a plus! He did recently take care of all the expenses for 4 of us the other week for our friends bachelor party at the casino. The tab had to be well over $2,500 with rooms, dinner, and table service at the club. So it's the least I can do for him in return. Once it's done I'll post a write up. I'm looking forward to the correction on his paint. Here's a picture of the truck when he first got it.
