colodude18
I'm always interested in cool ways to make a car (not necessarily mine!) look different, especially if it's temporary and can be "undone" relatively easy if you don't like it or get tired of it after a while. But it has to look good. Quality wise and in term of it looking like it belongs. It's no secret I'm a big fan of Plasti-Dip. An easy way to give your car a different look, if only just for one weekend. Today I stumbled on this product, that was applied at a local motorsports shop to a Ferrari 430. Now tell me this doesn't look AWESOME. It's a premium vinyl, available in this "brushed aluminum", and many other designs, such as polished/chrome, diamond plate, carbon fiber, and solid colors. Here's the web site that offers it: Metal Vinyl Films Video of applying it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOC34zGbMXo]Carbon Fiber Vinyl Hood Wrap - Rvinyl.com[/ame]
Team Adam's
Some of the vinyls they're doing now are really cool... thats just about the best looking brushed aluminum (that wasn't the real thing) that I've ever seen.
Chewy
What's funny is a lot of these were available for cell phones the last few years. Sent from the past using special algorithms and data nodes!
BlueGenCoupe
I really like that look on the ferrari...but I wonder what the adhesive does to the paint after a while.

Chuckkilo3
I really like that look on the ferrari...but I wonder what the adhesive does to the paint after a while. The adhesives should not be any worse than clear film adhesives. As long as the paint is fully cured before application, there should not be any issues while the vinyl is on nor when it is removed. Pureshine
IT doesn't do anything to the paint I had it on my car for 3 years. When I took it off it was fine. I just put it back on last month.

Jasssc
Awesome! How's their order fulfillment and service? I'm definitely going to be trying some of their stuff this summer! I haven't had any complaints. Everything you need is on their website. And they have videos and stuff on YouTube to help. If you get it, go ahead and order the "kit" that comes with squeegees, applicator fluid, stuff like that. It helps out a lot
