If he's been gone that long it'll be a bit before the car gets worked on I hope. I know if I was away from my wife that long, the car would be the LAST thing on my mind!

Absolutely give them a call and they'll hook you up with what ever you want/want to spend.

Thanks for being such great support for your husband while he's gone! He's doing a great thing for his country and the expense of being with his family. You military spouses don't get NEAR enough credit IMO.

I agree about contacting them. I know Dylan and Mook could help you out. Very friendly and helpful they are!!

There are so many different options for you to choose and work with.

By the way I not only as a VET thank your husband for his service, But I think you as well. Being the wife of a military person is very demanding and under appreciated.:bow::patriot:

I can imagine how you feel. I remember coming home from Desert Storm how I was feeling then to see the family, was unreal.... It will be worth the wait I can see. AGAIN THANK YOU :patriot:

Agree 100% with Chris. You can put any amount on it you want, and he can use it to order anything he wants. Win/win situation :). I know how excited he must be to get ready to get back. I myself get back from overseas in about 2 weeks.

Any chance the military discount is still valid?  I just returned from Qatar and also bought a 2018 Camaro (what are the odds lol).  I've never owned a new car, let alone a $42,000 one before.  Screwing up the paint is probably one of the last things I want to do.  Was looking at getting a foam gun (is that how soap is applied), wash mit, dry towels, and some soap.

Thanks!

First, from a fellow military guy (Air Force), welcome home! Guess you took good advantage of the tax break! Yes, there is still a miltary discount available, but you'll need to call to get it, as far as I know. There's also always a 10% forum discount, "shineon" (one word), and they offer sales a couple times a month on average.

Yep, you can use the FG to apply the soap. Don't have to, though. And there are lots of other products you should consider (Paint Sealant, for example), so I suggest watching the videos on the Adams website then ask any questions you have one these forums.

Now, let's see some pics of that new ride! Head over to the New Member forum and post your intro.

I would like to recommend a pressure washer and Foam Cannon, he will love that setup to wash the car.  Men and there toys too.  a two bucket system a nice way to go as well.

Before long you will have a garage full of stuff to clean that car with it, its a bad hobby but it makes that ride Shine!!

Whatever you decide upon, you can't go wrong.  I hope he appreciates all  you're doing for him.  Sometimes (I remember coming home) when we servicemen come home, it takes a while before we can get back into home life. We don't just pick up and take over, start up fixing things up and cutting grass. It takes us a while to readjust.  So have patience if he doesn't say "what a wonderful wife" right away.  He will be happy to see what you're doing in time.  Thank him for me for his service.  It is much appreciated.  And I hope God blesses you both for your sacrifice.  :patriot:
