I was just at a friends house yesterday and he just had a foam gun delivered from A******k and after inspecting it 2 different parts said "Made In USA." I may have to snap a couple photos of it next time I stop by there. He has not tried it out just yet so I can't give you a review on it. Maybe this can be looked into by Adam's although I'm sure they are already on it.

I think if you look closely, not all parts are USA.

thats the gilmour gun which adam used to sell, but they started producing stuff for it in china and it was discontinued. there might be 1 or 2 vendors that still has one of the 2nd gen foam guns (foamaster) that one didn't last long at all when the manufacturer tried to pull a fast one on us!!! this is the one i have and it works quite well. i might be selling it in a few months when i get a foamer for my pressure washer

Its a chinese gun that they snap a plastic cover to hide the made in china part. Majorly scummy and dishonest as they no longer have any plant in the US making foam guns, not even just assembling them.

Back when we had the Gilmours in our line they were made in PA... Robert Bosch tool corp (owners of Gilmour) shut down operations here in the US laid off the employees and reopened in China.

In our search to try and find a USA made gun we got this response:

Adam/Dylan:

With the Somerset, PA plant closing and parts manufacturing moving to China, our leadtime for all orders is now 6-10 weeks from receipt of firm order.

What a bummer! So sad to see the American jobs lost, and sent overseas.

We try to sell only USA made products, and it’s getting harder all the time!

Again, thanks Sharon,

Adam:

You will never see a consumer foam gun made of parts made in the USA from Bosch. Any product that can be transferred to China will be transferred to China. We have no say in the matter.

Sharon

I was lucky enough to get an Adam's one from Eric @ Thompson late fall/early winter. Thing puts out some foam. I use about an ounce of the Shampoo and fill the container to the neck with water, swoosh around, and let 'er rip. I don't have any of the pills to adjust the flow or anything in the gun.

Hi, Autobrite in the UK (my area) sell a good one and I beleive they ship. I don't work for them (work for an American company that has nothing to do with auto products). The autobrite site is

I got into all this **** when I bought a new Audi A6 in Phantom Black pearl effect and being black I spend most of my time cleaning it. :glasses:

Foam guns are very polarising you either use one all the time or you just don't consider it.

Me, i think they do a good job, after a spay with water the whole car gets covered in foam as do the wheels and wheel arches. Whilst all this is slowly sliding off the body I do the wheels and so far I think it goes well.

Used Meguiars Ultimate for its first wax and it's looking good after 3 weeks on.

Bottom line faom lances are the dogs whatsits :uk:
