BRZN
ASE, Autosport Engineering, located in South Australia makes this two piece billet aluminum power steering reservoir for the GTO: holds 30% more fluid than the stock unit. I polished it all up: http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/hand-polishing/16932.htm The stock unit is an opaque plastic that turns a nasty brown with age due to heat. It was time to go before it got any darker, I found this reservoir from a vendor in Australia, tuffcarparts.com, that was selling them on eBay a while ago. I tracked him down and found he had one left in stock, I pulled the trigger and made the purchase. Next purchase was through Summit Racing for a couple nickel AN fittings and black nylon braided hose. I needed some help from krewsman to locate some black AN fittings to thread into the reservoir: they needed to be O-ring equipped. What came with the unit: What Bob was able to secure 6 to 6AN for the return in black: and 8 to 10AN for the outlet, also in black: To end up like this: The larger diameter reservoir outlet hose was going to be a challange Had to remove the fitting from the pump itself Outlet hose made up to go from the reservoir to the pump: I needed to use the stock barbed nipples on both the pump outlet and the return hardline. No big deal, right? Wrong! AN hoses have a smaller inside diameter than the regular stock hoses. Silicone spray lube, a hair dryer to heat the hose and a bolt threaded into the hose to try and stretch it some was all needed to ease installation. Still I ended up with bruised hands and sore fingers, but I managed to get them on. I think it turned out pretty nice: I love modding my car! BRZN
Thanks guys. I love modding the appearance of the car, but to do subtle changes nothing really too over the top where it's obvious there's an after market piece there. The billet aluminum power steering reservoir really blended the rest of the underhood billet all together. Clean? Yea, but that's just me.

BRZN
Looks like it'd fit the G8 and probably the Camaro too. Chris Peeked under the hood of a G8 this morning and yep, it'd fit. Same stock power steering reservoirs and mounting brackets.
matts88yj
Peeked under the hood of a G8 this morning and yep, it'd fit. Same stock power steering reservoirs and mounting brackets. And the G8's have longer hoses. Wait that didn't sound right...
