c21mark
Do you guys think VRT will get a small thin 2 inch scuff mark off my gloss vinyl stripe on my 2011 Challenger SRT8? Any other suggestions. You can only see it if the light is right and you are looking at the right angle. Thanks for any input.
Marylander
I depends if the scuff is actual damage to the stripe or if it's just some other material transferred to the stripe. If its the former, some VRT might even out the color and hide it very well. If its the latter, try some very gentle ways to get the foreign material off. I'm sure some of the more Stripe/vinyl experienced guys will cime in soon.
Chris@Adams
Mark, You have a pic of the scuff? The SVRT might camouflage it, but I don't think that it would remove it. Without seeing it, it is hard to say for sure though.
Osok
You could try some revive or fmp by hand. Svrt doesnt really have any correction abilities. Its more rehydration and protection.
c21mark
So I cleaned the area with a little detail spray, then applied a small amount of SVRT waited 10 minutes and cleaned with detail spray again and voila scuff mark is gone. Checked it again later before I put the car in the garage and still no sign of it. Did the rest of my stripes and they look awesome!!!!
