THE Mook Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 So, my old man is turning 60 on Thursday...going to sneak over to his house, and really get his 1966 Chevelle SS 396 dialed in for the season. I attempted to do this last year, but ran out of time and weather beforehand. Now, equipped with the Flex, I think this is something I can turn around in a few good hours. The car is marked up pretty nice thanks to his Cali Duster days....I've since burned that thing. I don't expect to get it to perfect, but at least ready to win a show! Plenty of SHR, FMP, The Metal Polish Twins, and Brilliant Glaze and APW will be used!
NeonSRT-4 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Your dad has a very nice looking car. Can't wait to see the final results.

Integrity Detailing, LLC Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Now that is a machine I'd love to own. Enjoy your time become one with that beauty. She'll love ya for it. haha
DAVE SXT Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 That will eat that Chevelle for lunch. Love that Chevelle. My first car ever was a 68 SS Chevelle with a built 396, 410 3 speed and a 411 posi rear end. That thing would move. But.....I did own a 2008 3SS Trailblazer 2 years ago and I know for sure the TBSS' with the LS2 would certainly eat quite a few lunches.
NeonSRT-4 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 That will eat that Chevelle for lunch. No offense but I'd rather have the Chevelle.
Team Adam's Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 No offense but I'd rather have the Chevelle. I'd venture to say that 9/10 people here would also, myself included...and I own a TBSS. That wasn't his point though...
THE Mook Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Funny enough my dad would trade me in a heartbeat. I told him the Chevelle shouldn't be on a lift kit...I got looked at. Can't wait! This will happen before Saturday...probably tomorrow. Mook
Chase@InsanePaint Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Killer idea & seeeeeeexy Chevelle. Atta boy.
