ChargerMatt
How about that? And they are actually assembled in Detroit, not a suburb 50 miles away. That's awesome. There's some light at the end of the tunnel after all

There's some light at the end of the tunnel after all I sat down with a vendor of ours and their goal is to have 40% of their products made in the USA in the next couple of years. While that doesn't sound like a lot, in the PPE/safety business, it really is.
savi01
My friend actually picked up the 46" Element TV from WalMart during last years Black Friday. The quality of the tv is so-so, though it's claimed HD it really didn't look like one (yes my friend has a HD receiver, HDMI cable, etc). But it's still great that they're creating jobs here and I'm sure the product quality will improve soon.

Team Adam's
Well look at that... incentivize manufacturing here and a company jumps on it! Maybe our politicians should take a look at this. Rather than taxing the snot out of companies that want to do business in the US they should try providing tax incentives to keep them or bring them here! I know we're going to be in the market for an extra TV for a guest bedroom soon.... I'll definitely be buying one of these.
Lunchbox
I'll have to check these guys out when I buy my next TV.
Vink70
Looks like about just shy of $500 for a 46" at walmart for them. Interested for sure.
dipolley
Yea Detroit!!! Hey Dylan, wasn't there some discussion about having the big metal Adam's retail product displays going to have TV's on them? Hint hint.
Faze
Are all of their Tv's made here or?
DaveVY
The video segment indicated that they moved the production of their largest unit here, only have 100 employees in Detroit working in the manufacturing facility. The box for the units made here in the USA makes it fairly obvious... the entire box is done in a wind blown, waving flag look.

3PedalMINI
well, i dont want to be "that guy" but i hang and banged one over the holiday and the picture left something to be desired and it fealt like it was going to collapse under its own weight. hopefully it being made in america they will start upping the quality but i certainly wont be selling one and recommending them to my customers for the time being. THIS is what I was afraid of. I'm ALL about buying American, but just because it's built here doesn't necessarily mean it's made with quality. The video made them look very bulky. I like my thinner profile when hanging on a wall. Chris

When I buy my next TV I am going to be looking for the best bang for the buck as far as picture quality. However I am glad to hear some company's bringing work back to the USA
