I'm biased...(see sig). Lol

For me, it depends what you want to do with it. I'm a GM guy so I would say GTO, fbody, or G8 GT, but I would like to have an 03-04 Cobra.

I was going to say C6 Vette, but you want a back seat.

Although I said go with the G8, and a lot of others seem to agree, you really need to get the car that you want, not the one that we want. What are you looking for in the car? If all you're looking for is low 1/4 mile times, all the other options you mentioned would probably be better. I wouldn't give up my car for any of those others though because of what it has to offer as a whole. Every time I drive it, it still brings a smile to my face and I've had it for over two years now. Plus it's great driving a car that you rarely see anyone else in. If you have any questions about the G8 just ask. There's me and plenty of other owners here on the forum that I'm sure would be happy to answer your questions.

I would say the G8, I looked at them when they first came out and thought they were awesome, just didn't have much of a reason to trade at the time. How about this one...You take my 08 Titan and i'll take your Z06!

Coming from an owner of one .. I would go with a G8GT.

All t he ones you presented are great cars but I have been really happy with the G8 and the huge back seat it offers. not too many around which makes it even better.

I had a 96 SS Camaro and miss the crap out of it but .. the G8 was a nice replacement.

What are you needing it for? Do you have a child in a car seat? I've been looking at getting another car and the Mustang Boss is right up there on the list. The problem is, I have a child in a car seat, and putting him in the G8 can be fun let alone in a 2 door. I can't imagine it being at all easy. For now I'm sticking with the G8 with hopes that the rumors of an SS from Chevy will get me the Commodore I've been waiting for...

1998 Camaro SS SLP #2008

T-Tops

Dark Gray Leather

Auto

-Longtubes

-ORY

-Borlamouth catback

-SLP cold air intake w/ K&N filter and SLP lid

-LS6 intake

-Yella Terra rockers

-Koni 4/3 shocks

-Strano lowering springs

-MSD wires

-UMI adj. lower control arms

-UMI adj. panhard bar

-Frame ties

-Dyno tune

(sure I'm missing some other little things)

Dyno'd 389 to the wheels, but I think the dyno was a little happy. Runs strong though. Will easily spin the brand new BFG KDW2's.

Wheels are OE Wheels C5 Deep Dish machined w/ black vents. 18x9.5 w/ 275/35-18 in front, 18x10.5 w/ 295/35-18 in rear

The CME is aftermarket (high quality. Tips are hand welded and retail for $400). They did not offer CME in '98.

G8 ALLLLLL DAY

Unless you can find a Blue, 06 GTO. That color was hawt.

The G8 was perhaps the best car ever thought of and produced by Pontiac. This will include the original GTOs back in the 60s. I WILL OWN one someday...

WOW! It's a nice car Mook, but I think you may have it set on a bit of a pedestal.

I'm hoping Chevy comes out with an "SS" like the rumors are saying, which will be the Commodore me hopes! Would be nice to be able to use my snow wheels on a new vehicle. lol
