Hey guys, i have been reading stuff on her for about a month and finally joined not long ago. thanks to finding Junkman on the Chargerforums. I have a silver (not sure of actual paint code/description) 08 dodge charger. it doesn't look like the paint has been touched in terms of correction. but my front right pass fender where the bumber and fender meet it seems to be bondo'd and painted. (i plan to avoid that section... or atleast be very gentle?) I haven't seen to many silver cars on here finished, so im not sure what kind of results to expect. But here is my shopping list for Adams. let me know what you guys think? i feel confident that i can make the swirls go away with out being able to damage the paint with a pc 7424XP!

Add in a few more SS microfiber towels. You will go through them. More is better. I have between 1 and 2 dozen. Keeps MF washday more efficient too.

Add a gallon of DS! You can never have too much, and it has lots of uses.

Thanks guys.i get a gallon of detailing spray in the detailing spray collection, i also get 16oz of all purpose spray in the pc pad kit. Should i get a gallon it now or wait? Also can i get away with just one of each pad? Im trying to get a good essentials kit going. I started at 6 items and have now doubled that by reading the forums... anything you guys think i should add or remove? Let me know! Thanks, scott.

I would recommend 2 of the polishing pads, but you can get by with one sealant pad.

i got my order this morning, felt like a kid on Christmas morning! i have a week off before i start my summer semester so i plan to accomplish the car this week. i have a small area on my trunk that im a little concerned about. it's been there since i've had the car, it was also on part of my rear window. i believe i used a little lemon juice on a rag to neutralize it and it finally disappeared from the window. i can only spot it at night under a bright light from a school nearby but when i look at it up close it appears less glossy. when i rub my hand over it, it feels rough. it looks like a water stain to me. I've tried taking pictures to post, but it just doesn't show up on camera regardless of lighting or angle.
