THE Mook Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 According to TMZ (I know not the most awesome source), Adam Yauch has lost his battle with Cancer. Known to most as MCA from the Beastie Boys. I am crying at my desk right now. From the time I was in second grade hearing Fight for your Right and jumping on garage mattresses at my friend Rachel's house, the Beastie Boys have been a part of my life. I wish his family and friends all the best in their time of grieving. MCA Adam Yauch Dead -- Beastie Boys Rapper Dies at 47 | TMZ.com This afternoon at the Warehouse, I will be making it a Beastie Friday.

"Now my name is M.C.A., I've got a license to kill I think you know what time it is, it's time to get ill Now what do we have here, an outlaw and his beer I run this land, you understand, I make myself clear."

Diggerdan11 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Thats Sad, I have always been such a big Beastie Boy fan. Man what a week, not only did Jr. Saeu (one of my football heros) die but now MCA from one of my favorite bands.
mikegeaney Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I agree. Both Jr. Seau and MCA in the same week make the world somehow not as cool.
BrianT Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 A very sad day indeed! Hasn't been even 3 years since they found the cancer. So very very sad!!
