Just wanted to say Hi. I have had my truck for about a year and black is so hard to take care of. Especially since I plow with it in the winter! I recently had my truck completely clay barred, buffed, polished and waxed and was turned on to Adam's to keep it looking good. I just ordered a few hundred dollars of materials that will be here tomorrow. I can't wait to wash the truck on Saturday!! Doesn't look too bad for a 2009!

Welcome!

Looks great! You'll love your Adams purchases!

Thanks. It's tough to keep black looking pristine with harsh Wisconsin winters!

Uhm yeah... Iowa here and I drive a black G8... :o Trucks believe it or not are slightly easier because they sit higher. The problem is there's more to wash, clay, polish, and wax. :willy:

I'm glad I found this site recently and I love the videos. Now that the truck is pristine, I just need to keep it that way. I really like the idea of the 2 pad, 2 bucket system and alot of the product. You would cringe if I told you how I used to wash it!! It's never seen an auto wash since I've seen the damage they can do, but I had one bucket and one small pad that I would wash the whole thing with. Then I would dry the whole thing with one old leather shammy that I've had for probably 5 years now and that would include drying the door frames (no pre wash in the frames either). I would just periodically rinse the shammy to try to get dirt out of it. No wonder I had so many swirls.
