Beemer Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 After two nearly complete days of detailing -here's the Red Rocket (2010 Camaro 1LT) in all it's glory:
Beemer Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Unfortunately I took too much time off to do it. I have to go back to work. And there are storms coming..... Mother's Day might be a nice day to take the wife for a drive, though.
Beemer Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Thanks. I feel like an Adam's pro. Says a lot for the product when a first-timer with no machine polishing experience can get results like this.
BlueGenCoupe Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Nice job Roger. I really love that red. I haven't seen many camaros in this color
Beemer Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Nice job Roger. I really love that red. I haven't seen many camaros in this color Thanks. Yeah - I don't understand it. I guess most people prefer the "metallic" colors but this was the only color I was interested in. Love the Blue Coupe.
mc2hill Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Very nice Roger! And even going with this months Photo Contest theme!
JBlack151 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Looking great! Loving the red Camaros lately. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
FASN8N Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Car looks good, but please tell me those are not fake caliper covers on your brakes!
Beemer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Car looks good, but please tell me those are not fake caliper covers on your brakes! OK - I won't tell you..... Actually - I'm starting to feel the same as you about them although I have gotten more positive comments than negative. I just don't look forward to the pain of taking all four wheels off again. Next time I have a tire rotation I'll probably have them removed.
Beemer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Sweet car ... nice shine ... gross nickname haha Red Rocket? From the Little Einsteins children's cartoon? That's gross? Maybe I'm missing something....
Beemer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Sweet car ... nice shine ... gross nickname haha Oh - I get it. It's Riding the Red Rocket. You sick bastid.
Big O Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Haha ... i manage construction ... not my fault ... fortunately i am well versed with little einsteins also. Much more appropriate lol

Either way you still have a nice car, good photography skills too.
70'sChevyGirl Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 And even going with this months Photo Contest theme! My thoughts exactly. Very nice detail. You have great reflection!
Beemer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Either way you still have a nice car, good photography skills too. Thanks. I borrowed my son-in-law's 50mm lens. I may have to figure out a way to keep it. Wait - I think he still has my SkilSaw...
Beemer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 My thoughts exactly. Very nice detail. You have great reflection! I guess I'll enter it into the contest, then. I don't think the dandilions are very "flowery" but....
