When you take your perfectly clean car out on the first beautiful day in a long time, and the roads seem dry, but you go around one random corner and there's just no way to avoid that one last puddle in the road. Arrrgh!:willy:

Or when you got the ride all shined up,,, Saturday afternoon about 2 or 3. Sunny and not a cloud in sight. Going down the road and the development you live in has the irrigation running on the plants in the middle of the road,, and it is a river on the road... And it is non-potable water....:help::(

All the neighborhoods that feel it is necessary to water the asphalt instead of the grass.....

Actually worse than that is a current trend I have been seeing: "Detailers" (none here) that tell people "Oh, you can't get those swirls and holograms out. That's just the way it is." :explode:

There's a house on my route home that loves to either leaf blow or just mulch all of their grass clippings into the street. It just so happens it rained the night they did it and I had to drive through it.

My car looked DISGUSTING the next day. He hasn't done it since last week, and I'm hoping it stays that way.

When I wash my black car and then the next day it has a film of dust on it from being parked at work. Then it is to much for a waterless wash and I dont feel like getting the 2 buckets out every day!

I hate that I'm 17 but already have back problems. :( Really slows down my washing.

I get sharp pains when picking things up, I try to use my knees but it's my lower back.

My spine's straight but, I'm not doctor so who knows what is happening.

I used to just say its cause I'm weak but I'm a little smarter now than I was back in the day haha.

I really hate all the tri-axle trucks that travel my road with loads of fill that are uncovered and end up leaving a dirt film on my cars. Also hate the fact that these trucks can't read the 35 speed limit signs and feel they must speed through a residential zone with kids!!!

Just discovered something that I really, really, really, really HATE...the lid on my Americana Wax, this morning it took me 10 minutes to get the darn lid off, and 20 minutes "attempting" to put it on when I was finished. This has been a PITA since I've gotten the Americana. Come on really, shouldn't a great wax deserve a container that is easy to open and close???? It is so difficult to open and to get the lid back on, that I may not purchase another Americana Wax, because that's how upset I am with the silly lid at this moment. BTW, the car looks GREAT and I love the Americana...but a big BOO to the container!!

mjhpadi, do you keep your Americana applicator in the container with the wax? I was doing that at first and it did indeed make the lid VERY difficult to get properly lined up to close. I have since removed it and keep it in a separate bag, and all is good!

I'm wondering if you have some wax residue on the threads of the jar and/or lid. Maybe it's "glued" the lid to the jar.

You might try wiping the threads on the jar and the lid with some APC before screwing it down again.

Just a thought ,if it bugs you that much take it out of its original container and place it in another thats easy to open.

Let me answer the questions, yes I keep the applicator in the container but I have tried it with it out and it is still almost impossible to get the lid on and off. No there is not build-up of residue on the threads, I have checked and even cleaned to make sure there was nothing causing the problem.

Next, yes it does bug me A LOT, and honestly at the price of the wax (which is worth it) I should not have to replace it in a different container, it should have a quality container even if the price must increase a little. It is just crazy to put money into any product and then have to wrestle it to get the lid on and off. Poorly designed containers was the reason (and I like Adam's MUCH better) I quite using any and won't recommend any of Meguiar's products because the bottles of they liquid products break very easily and when I contacted them they didn't even respond to my letters. So I just don't see a reason to have a container that is difficult to open and close.
