Weekend Wash?

I feel foolish as i have searched but can't find on here how you should wash your car on the weekend? I polished last weekend my 10 year car that had been neglected (shame on me) and it still looks great, but it rained this week and there are a few mud spots, etc. If I use soap and water, does that strip off the wax and sealant? Do I "wash" it with just water and then dry? Just hit the dirt spots with the Waterless Wash? Thanks and sorry for the newbie questions!

I believe adams car shampoo doesn't strip anything, so it would probably be ok to do that. If its not to dirty you could always go the waterless wash route.

As Ryan said Adam's Car Wash Shampoo is pH neutral, so it will NOT remove the protection you just put on the car. This even better than plain water as it will not spot. Wash the whole car, but do not rinse until all washing is complete. If some of the soap has dried on the car, no problem, just reload the mitt and wipe it again. Now do your pool rinse and dry!

Adams shampoo is great! If you don't have any though, I would wait till you get some. Using dawn or other brands of shampoo may strip your wax

Yes, Adam's shampoo, and at least a 2 bucket 2 grit guard 2 wash pad method.

And pooling rinse, and then Adam's super soft great white drying towels.
