fender brush might be toast :(

Grease from having new tires put on is stuck in the bristles. It's caked on worse than the pictures show. I tried soaking it in all purpose cleaner over night. It didn't do anything, at all.

Any ideas? Cut a quarter inch off? Not even sure how I would do that.

After you soaked it in APC (or just spray with full strength APC), scrub it against a grit guard. Some, of not all, of the caked on material should come off. Then just clean the grit guard off when done and you are good to go.

This didn't faze it. It's a heavy grease, like vaseline type thick. I got all the grease off the wheels and tiers at least. Ha

I'd replace the brush. I've cleaned my fenders and backs of wheels and never seen the amount of grease that is on your brush. Where does one pick up this much grease and dirt?

I would probably still use it when my wheel linings were very dirty. I would then get another one for the times when They were not super dirty.
