Theis Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Sorry for stupid question but for passes would you be meaning addin more product and going over it again till it flashes? So if I were to say I did 2 passes of shr it would be going over twice with more shr on it?
XQIZT Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 When I say "pass," I mean working polish until it flashes. I can refresh with DS without adding more polish and work that until it flashes. That would be another "pass." Maybe the easiest way to think of a pass ending is any time you turn the polisher off.

So if I were to say I did 2 passes of shr it would be going over twice with more shr on it? I think the term 'pass' is used for two things: section pass - number of side-to-side and up-and-down motions until the product flashes product pass - working the entire section (panel or whole car) with a polish
