MichiganSRT8 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Alright guys, well I knew I had a car meet coming up and thought I would give the jeep a run through before I headed there. A full 100% correction wasn't possible time wise as I had other events and other cars car as well. In the end it did come out pretty well, and with engine work and other things happening within the next few months I will have to touch it up anyways after so a 100% correction didn't make much sense. Here some pics of the process: Before Afters 50/50's If I wasnt more busy with others cars over mine I would have snapped even more pics. Thanks for lookin everyone!
3PedalMINI Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Nice man! How did it get so bad? I like your seadoo sticker, where did you get it?
70'sChevyGirl Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Nice job. You do know that if you are off roading that you are suppose to get out and cut off those really big branches so that doesn't happen, don't you??
Jerseykid Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 What was your process? Looks like a big turnaround as is!
MichiganSRT8 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Looks great Josh, especially for a "quick" polish! Thanks Dave! knocked it out in a night before the show at noon the next morning and finished up some in the morning. can only thank the flex for that, love that thing. Nice!! Thanks Nice man! How did it get so bad? I like your seadoo sticker, where did you get it? Thanks! I think it got bad from mainly to the Michigan winter and 2 improper washes I did, along with letting my mom borrow my car and cleaning it for me haha. I cant be mad at her though, she meant well and in the end its just a car, and now its great again Nice job. You do know that if you are off roading that you are suppose to get out and cut off those really big branches so that doesn't happen' date=' don't you?? [/quote'] haha, I wish I could take my jeep offroad, sadly she will be forever tethered to the pavement . Ill have to tell the county to cut some trees down cause there are a few that probably did some damage Much better! Thanks! What was your process? Looks like a big turnaround as is! Well mostly went with fine machine on the Flex all the way around the car on the new gen pads, with another step after using the gray pads and another kind of polish non-adams. All the work was mostly done by the time I hit it with the flex, there were also a few places I had to hit with the flex with swirl and haze remover, like the back and front bumper but not too much. Since school is done I got to mess around with a few things and came around to a pretty fast and effective combo. Thanks for the compliments! I am happy with the way it turned out, and hopefully I can keep it this way for longer this time! haha:D **BTW thanks for moving this whoever did, was thinking it went unnoticed but it didnt haha** late night haha
