Fiveg56 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Can the paint correction pads/polishes be used to clean up a badly swirled motorcycle windscreen? It's plastic. If not...what can?
ktn65 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I'm sure more experienced people will chime in, but I have used revive to successfully clean swirled guage clusters. Also I thought there was a post not too long ago about somebody using revive to clean jeep soft-top windows that were swirled.
THE Mook Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 BY HAND. SHR on an Orange Hand Hex Pad, and follow it with Revive, and a Blue Hand Hex Pad. We do this for Vert windows and it works great.

Hhmm...have to try this on my center console, I have a small area that has gotten scuffed from the seat belt hitting it. (The price I pay for being fat)! I will have to get an orange hex pad, that is one thing I don't have at this time.

J Tegeler Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I used the PC with 4" pads on my motorcycle windscrean and on the tank and all the other plastics. worked awesome! FMP is the most aggresive i went though
PacificNWBuckeye Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I tried some revive on an old pair of saftey glasses I wear when using the string trimmer, took out all but the worst of the scratches.
