Microfiber revitalizer question

BlueGenCoupe

Question

Posted

I've done a couple details over the past 2 weekends and used up a lot of towels which got really dirty. I applied MFR on the soiled area and used 2oz in the washer machine.

I've done maybe 3 or 4 loads and i've gone through a bottle and a half of MFR. My question is, am I using too much?

EDIT...2oz not 4oz typo

How many towels did you treat? If it was a few in each load yes, thats too much... if you treated a bunch of towels then maybe not.

EDIT - also didn't see you're using 4oz in the wash... too much! Don't they teach you guys to read up there in Canada? :lolsmack:

Nah, they'll make more, but thanks for asking. :jester:

Seriously, yeah sounds like too much, the label says 1 - 2 ounces.

1-2 ounces should be for a LARGE load anthony...I wouldn't waste too much product pre-treating every stain on every towel, that's gonna cost you alot of product. I'm telling you, pre-soak with 2oz of re-vitalizer in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water...then rinse in a bucket full of clean water. You will get the same results, and save yourself alot of product.

Well yesterday I did 11 towels, and the other times maybe 4-6

To add to this post, I am going to be placing an order the first of the week and this is an item I will be ordering. My question is, do you use it as the detergent in the wash or is it just an additive to the detergent?

I use it with the Woolite and likely use too much, but my towels are very white. I wash all the towels together expect the black ones. Get a gallon, I am.
