THE Mook Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Morning! Great time last Saturday for a great Clinic, even though it was only 45* out! Plenty of room in the new warehouse to potentially fit all the little cars that were there! Thank you to the Peak to Peak Miata Club and MetroDubs of Denver for coming out. Great people and some nice cars too! (Except you Baker, sheez, clean that thing every now and again.) The Cars Some Clinic Shots: The Sun certainly wasn't going to come out, but we chose to hold the Wash Demo outside anyway. Notice in the pictures, the engine looks to have been detailed last in 1992. Before actually hitting the main part of the paint with water, the Engine, Exhaust Tips, Wheels, and Tires were addressed. As Adam is rocking the wheels out, anyone notice the sneaker of the new product about to drop? It's nice! How to take care of a Vinyl Top? ADAM'S GOTCHU!! (Started with an Interior Brush, then moved to the Carpet Brush (light pressure, treated with SVRT) Pulling our Demo Car inside, we were able to see the Love Marks from the Auto Wash all up and down this little guy. After the Clay Demo, Adam explained the importance of dressing the Car before polishing, how to tape effectively, and went into Hand Polishing. I took care of the PC7424 Demo, and Adam followed with the Flex Demo. Notice people getting involved. The last clinic, NO ONE wanted to play, this clinic, we had a bunch of volunteers! Glass Sealant on the Right... There were questions about 100 different things afterwards. Adam, myself, and the rest of the team split up to address them. Here is Adam showing off Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner From the start, myself, and well, everyone else was giving Baker a ton of junk for having Yellow Headlights. I mean, they were so Yellow, they looked stock. I made it a point to head over, fix them, then apply QS to them in hopes they wouldn't yellow back up. Before: During: (Started by hand with a Blue Hex Grip and SSR, SHR, Revive on the pad. Finished with a 4" White Focus Pad with FMP (a dot of SHR and SSR mixed onto the pad. DO NOT try this unless you are confident in your technique and skill.) After: (I think they came back pretty ok) I had to go hang out with my Mother-In-Law, and had to bounce from the Clinic earlier than I wanted to. Adam took the afters of the MX-5 Demo Car. I hope to post those later today. Thank you all for stopping in! Mook
Marylander Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Gotta love little cars like the Miata... you can pretty much give them a full correction in about 45 minutes.
DaveVY Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I spy a new product in those pics! I can't wait for this... been resisting the urge to buy a competitor's product... happy to see Adam's almost has this now. In the meantime my wheel barrels just get dirtier and dirtier... (until the wheels are bad enough that I feel obligated to get the electric drill out)
THE Mook Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 You'll find that ours will be Special. I can't say more than that. They'll kill me.
Adam Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Great show, and these VW and Miata enthusiasts were a great group!!

ArmyAcadia09 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 in that "sneaker" photo Adam looks like I do when I bang my knuckle on something metal, and am swearing under my breath.
