i need more SVRT...

So after listening a week of my girl making fun of how completely trashed my Jeep Liberty was....and realizing that 2 years between washes is a bit too much...i decided to do a little cleaning to it. :)

I grabbed my bag full of Adam's and headed to the car wash. I realize that washing at the car wash is BAD....but hey, it's the jeep LOL

i didn't put much more effort besides the wash on the paint...but since the jeep has so much plastic...i got the SVRT and the black hex grip...and went to town.

i wasn't planning on taking pics...until i started the SVRT and i was blown away! what a difference this stuff makes!

now i need to decide if i want to waste any butter wax....cuz, man, if yall felt this paint....you would BAN me from this forum! i mean...i sprayed some DS and went to wipe...and the paint grabbed my SS and yanked it outta my hand LOL

I saw similar results on my truck this morning......until it dried. Now it looks like crap!!! Streaky mess actually. Will reapplying fix it?

It should. Very dried out plastics can take several applications before they are 'rehydrated'. They also can absorb at different rates, just to make it a little more fun!

hahaha love those pics like that! I did the same on a buddies car, he had no idea they would turn that black after since he got the car that way hah. nice work!

I'll glob on another coat today and see what happens. The tires held up fine but all the other trim/door handles dried into a mess....hope this works.

Thanks

There is a Jeep with similar looking plastics at the train station. Someday I'm just going to bring the SVRT with me and help that thing out. :jester:
