Its a little rainy and cold out here. But we have a booth set up just south of the concession stand behind the big white tent. We are currently waiting to see whether or not they are going to move the event to tomorrow or not, the final decision will be made at 1:00 PM. The Adam's crew is here rain or shine!!! So come stop by out tent if you are coming out to see the jet cars and hot rods!! I will post when I know more about what is going on!

I would say you are LITTLE ways away for sure! The sun just popped out of the clouds here for a few. Forecast shows the rain clearing by about 3 and the event does not start till 7 so we may still pull it off!

Well the event went off OK. The rain finally stopped around 3:30 and the crowds came out to watch the funny cars, dragsters and jet cars. We met a lot of our current customers, made some new friends, and were positioned right across from the Adam's sponsored car (our oldest sponsorship). The booth looked great. I did some demonstrations, Eric and Matt stayed dry in the tent, and Adam chatted up many old friends. We also spent some time with our friends at Purifoy Chevrolet who are also a track sponsor and Adam's Dealer. When the event started we were invited to sit in the owners suite and watch the races. A great time was had by all.

 

This was our first event at Bandimere Speedway and we will be doing several more over the summer. In fact Bandimere Speedway is now an authorized Adam's Dealer. So if you don't want to come all of the way out to Louisville, or you are at the track anyway, stop in the fuel store.

 

Eric and Matt took plenty of photos and I will have some video posted up soon. In the mean time. Here is the main event jet cars racing the 1/4 mile. Insane. I have to tell you, watching this is no where close to what it is really like. Everytime the flames come out the entire building shakes and you can feel the rumble in your chest.

Even an 8-year-old girl can use a Flex. I had absolutly no problem letting her us my Flex on MY car. Of course I didn't let go of it either.
