XQIZT Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 This is what he would drive if he had a Corvette. 2012 100th Anniversary Carbon Flash Metallic Grand Sport. It was not bad before I was called to detail it, but it just was missing that POP. So, it got a full treatment. Wash, dry, tire and wheel detail, clay, hand polish with Revive, glaze and Americana. Quick Sealant on the wheels, SVRT on the tires and stripes. These pictures don't do it justice. The metal flake in the paint was amazing at the end. The owner was REALLY pleased. On to the photos:

THE Mook Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 That paint is stunning in person. Mike, I imagine that two passes of FMP, with the Facemelter installed, would set that thing OFF! Looks great man!
XQIZT Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Mook, I thought about it, but it really didn't have swirls that were all that bad...hardly any. It's only got 4700 miles on the clock. Glaze and Americana made it totally change color all by themselves.
Rich Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Darth DOES drive a Z06! Very nice color man. Makes it just a little more special.
ledger64 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 that color is amazing on here can't imagine in person....
Redbeard Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 What I can't imagine is trying to touch up that paint! It's hard enough keeping up with "normal" black on a daily. That would worry me more than watching for cops!
