Corners
I am in need of a light to check for swirls, etc. Does anybody have any input on this brand: Brinkmann Maxfire Dual Xenon Rechargeable Swirl Finder Spotlight. If this is a light that has low ratings, can anybody recommend the best light? Tks!
07RS4
I have it...it works good. Overhead lights and 500W halogens do the same job if you know what to look for, this light is more portable though. I've replaced the bulb once ($5) and the battery is inconsistent. Some never have issues however.

Additionally I have the dual, portable light but that puts out way to much light while I'm working. I'm going to go ahead and get this light ordered right away. It's amazing how the little LED flashlights work especially when they have 8 or 12 of the bulbs in them. I carry those in both vehicles and on the Harley. Also have a few placed in different places throughout the house in case the lights go out, which in our area happens quite often.
JBlack151
Looking for the same light myself this evening to use when looking at the areas I can't see with my 500W lights. I would really love to have one by this Saturday but I don't think anyone locally has them. I don't want to pay a crazy shipping costs either to get it here before the weekend. JBlack151
I was looking at that but didn't know what the difference was with this being the "Marine" model. The others were not available for the a quick shipping method.

Just ordered mine right now. It should be here on Thursday. I wanted the silver/black one just because I'm picky like that, but in the end I needed this for a correction this weekend and I had no choice but blue. THE Mook
My Mother in Law got me the Brinkmann that Phil at Detailer's Domain sells. She got me a light that I wanted, and also supported one of our finest dealers at the same time. I like when we all win!
GXPaycheck
Ordered one as well. I think Dylan has recommended these in the past as well. It looks like there is no real difference between the different versions.

Okay, Okay, since I TOTALLY agree with you on this. And also since I am attending the detail clinic at Phil's I've already canceled my order with Amazon then re-ordered the black/silver light (originally wanted) from Phil. Plus I paid extra for 2 Day shipping so I will have it for this weekend. https://www.detailersdomain.com/Brinkmann-MaxFire-Dual-Xenon-Rechargeable-Spotlight_p_242.html

Team Adam's
The brinkman is a great little light for the money... I've had mine for years and its served me very well. It travels to almost every clinic with me. Definitely not a replacement for larger halogen lights, but certainly is helpful for spot checking.
