Kingsford Posted June 15, 2012 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Alright so I finally decided on what to detail for my detail something different.... Genesis Rescue Systems Hydraulic Combi Tool A.K.A Jaws of Life or The Jaws! I used APC, Metal Polish and some SVRT. Soaked down the entire thing with APC to get rid of any oils, hydraulic oil and other crud that's accumulated over the past few years. I followed up by giving a nice polish to the entire tool with some Metal Polish #1. Finally I finished with some SVRT onto the rubber shroud around the cutting/spreading portion of the tool. I could not polish the black handle because it has teeth to grip your hand. Keep in mind the tool is about 10-15 years old and has been used to extricate people from cars on accident scenes. I'm very pleased with the results and kind of proud of my creativeness of the last photo. I also believe these are 100% Made In The USA Before: After: And my product placement shot.
