you can tell i live in a farm town lol...this is a good friend of mine who wanted his truck fixed up...the interior wasnt bad at all besides being a little dirty and a few spots...the outside was in about the same shape with the normal swirls...he asked how to clean the truck the right way and i said he was just better off bringing it to me lol...he said he had used those brushes at the coin operated car washes and i got my point across pretty well about never using those again...he was very happy with how it turned out...on with the pics

great work! you know you want one lol

thanks...the more i get in and out of them i kinda do lol

Looks great as usual. If your doing that sort of stuff as side jobs you have a lot more time on your hands than I do. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my own vehicles let alone doing others.

thanks....i work about 50 hours a week and have a 5 year old so trust me i am very busy...i work 3 days on then 3 off so i have them drop it off my last night on and finish it the next day...usually that night or the following day one of my vehicles get washed as well

Great job. Those swirls were nasty!

thanks!

Yep I live in a farm town to and only see trucks driving around usually lol. nice work as always! and man I need to get me a flex if i keep doing details for side cash

it really helps cut down on the amount of time polishing and is still a pretty safe unit

nice job! that white paint is tough to get perfect huh? what was your process on the swirls?

its always a treat to try to find the swirls in white...i did a strip wash with Adam's car shampoo and APC followed up by claying the truck...for polishing i used my Flex 3401 on an orange pad with SHR...a few of the panels required 2 passes to get it where i wanted it but for the most part the paint was pretty easy to work with....i followed that up with the white pad and FMP...put on a coat of MSS and she came out looking perdy

Great job saving another truck Derek! :2thumbs:

thanks!

what did you use on the seats? I have a couple of spots on my seat that I would like to cleanup. thanks

i used Adam's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner first...i sprayed it on then agitated it carefully with my brush...i followed that up with my Bissell Auto Pro Heat...i sprayed the hot water from that onto the seat then agitated and extracted
