Remove scratches from Oakleys

bjoeaull

Question

Anybody try any Adams products on oakley lenses? I saw where you could use brasso, but thought Id ask about Adams stuff. I figure maybe try fine machine polish. I don't have revive.

On a side note I put some spray sealant on my Rayban Wayfarer glasses and it helped the water blow off while at the water park!

Here's an example of an automotive polish (finest available from a respected German manufacturer that starts with an M) on a red jeweling pad being used on a lens. These belong to a friend that owns a body shop which is how I got the preceding information. He had a scratch in the center of his lens and tried to buff it out.

BTW: I'm the Client Services Manager for one of the largest independent wholesale optical labs in the nation. That is what I am basing my opinions in the previous post upon. Valentine's Day next year will be 30 years in the business.
