Noob Carpet Striping

Hey guys pretty self explanatory. I looked on here for how to's but couldn't find much... Just wondering if there is a special tool and/or process needed for striping the carpets. My truck has very large floor space and in the summer months I do not use floor mats so Id like to see if I can make this happen! Any info is a huge help!

I believe you just vacuum in different directions - top to bottom, then bottom to top on the next 'stripe'.

Take a carpet brush and draw the lines in after you vacuum. Sometimes its easier to get straighter lines and up to the edges without fighting the hose that's on the vacuum.

I make my line with the shop vac when I am just vacuming my car out quick. I do find that using the carpet brush makes moer defined and more noticeable lines for me though. just vacum top to bottom and then take the brush bottom to top
