Winter Product Storage

Question

I'm curious about what everyone does in the winter time for the storage of their Adam's products. My garage isn't insulated and it does get below freezing so right now I carry 3 huge rubbermaid tubs down some stairs and into the garage which is really a pain considering how frequent I detail. Do yall have any tricks on storage in the winter, or do yall keep your products inside too?

Normally my wash products are in the laundry room (attached to the carport), but for the winter I brought all the liquids into the house. I have 4 large Adam's boxes decorating my kitchen.

Since my garage is a glorified shed with no insulation at all, I store all my products inside year round.

I live in a small 2 bedroom 1 bath where space is very limited. I bought a small shelf just for my adams products and I keep them in my office/spare bedroom

I bring all of mine inside and keep them in my Americana Bags. Some stuff goes into boxes... like my extra stuff. All my gallons stay inside no matter what, hot or cold.

I have 3 bags, one for washing, one for interior and another for polishing. That way when I do wash in the winter I just need to grab the one bag and some towels.

However I dont do much in the winter. Try to wash every two weeks but thats not always possible with the weather.

Good decoration. I'd put up a shelf in the living room and display all my Adam's products if I could.

I think I've kept all my boxes so far, because I know I'll need them one day. I feel a move coming on within the next year and they'll be great for packing.

I read the FAQ and I know it says 40 degrees. My garage stays 50-55 (underground), but still not the comfy with letting the thicker materials stay down there. So I keep all my waxes, polishes, compounds (swirl/haze, etc) in my house. I let the APC and sprays and everything else down in my garage. In a tub with insulation wrapped around it just incase

Dylan, I guess I have neglected my products. I have a bunch of gallon refills that I left in my garage and they have become a thin slushy consistency, well just the detail spray and all purpose cleaner. Did it completely ruin them ya think? I just found them like that so I've grout it all down to my basement. What do you guys think?

Since not a lot of 'detailing' happens when the weather is cold I've setup a rack in my basement that houses the bulk of my supplies including gallon refills, jumbo bottles, etc.

Hanging on the corners of the rack are my Adam's Detailers Bags with the "basics" -

16oz of all the key products like cleaners and dressings in one bag, the other houses polishes, waxes, and sealants.

The only things that stay in the garage are towels, applicators, pads, tools, and brushes. If I need to do a cleanup I grab the bag or bags I need and go to work.

Towels, wash mitts, brushes, and equipment are in the garage in see-thru storage bins. Gallons containers are stored inside 5 to a crate and individuals bottles are stored in a closeable plastic container also inside.

The garage is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. But the house is just right. (using Little Red Riding Hood voice)

I keep the products down the basement. The ones I use most frequently I keep in a seperate container to make it a little more convenient. All the other stuff (brushes MF towels etc) I keep in the garage.

For the first time since moving to Northern CA, I had to move my product into our living space. It has just been too cold at night and the thermometer that I keep in the cabinet that store all of my product in was dipping too low for my comfort. So, everything was moved into my office at home. I don't think my wife realized how much product was in that cabinet in the garage, but she does now. It's only for a few weeks until the nighttime temps pick up.

Mine is in the Mud Room space in my house. I keep them inside year round, until I can control the climate in the garage.

Laundry room too, but it's down in the basement. It's a nice central location for all my products.

I keep mine in the laundry room/furnace area ill have to see how that works when I actually get my stuff but I've always been lucky enough to have storage right inside from the garage
