Had to return this Camaro to the body shop to fix some issues they did not address during a small repair last week. Why do people like to finger my car? Geez. Captain Slow Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 We had bluebird skies, 32*F and no wind so the buckets and hose came out today. I washed and Detail Sprayed both vehicles just in time for Monday night into Tuesday 6+ inch snowstorm. Oh well, it felt good to get outside and spend 3 hours in the sun. I did mine first then parked it across the street while I washed my wife's TBSS. Mama's TBSS reflected in my G8's finish. More of that d@#$%^ white stuff coming. Note to self: missed side marker w/SVRT milk. I discovered a good samaritan at the office used a snow brush on front and back windows. I know this because I saw where the brush went across the finish on the front and rear pillars. Oh well, it's nothing 5 minutes with the 4" focus pads can't fix. carlrx7 Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) tried out a new toy 50/50 APC on the wheels 2 oz of Adams Car Shampoo for each car, sprayed the foam on, pressure washed off, then foamed it up again, then two bucket washed them both. The SS got an Air dry, she sits outsite (she needs a new home) while the VW was pulled into the garage and got a detail spray wipedown, then BG and a coat of Americana Wax. now that the tires are dry, time to apply some SVRT.
