WMUCarGuy
What is the best way to strip the wax totally off my car? I'd been told that a little bit of all-purpose cleaner in with the car shampoo during a wash will do it. Is that correct, or should I try something else? 0 GerryC
Dawn can potentially dry out your weather stripping and rubber trim. Mixing APC with Car Shampoo is the ideal way to safely remove wax or sealant from your paint.

0 windycitylp
im going to try the apc mix on the next one. i did a 50/50 isopropyl (70/30) & h2o.i applied it after a wash with waterless wash micros. it worked pretty well the only drawback is that it is another step. thats the thing with detailing. there is always more than one way to do it. try one out. if it works go with it. experiment. good luck
