How many full corrections can a car safely take?

IrishCurse

Question

I know Finishing Polish is basically harmlessness, and can be used multiple times a year, if desired. What is a safe number of full polishing runs a vehicle's clear can take? I know it's vehicle specific, pass specific, etc. I'm only talking Adams products of course. I've been told with the advanced micro abrasives, they're so minimally invasive, and clears are relatively thick, that you can do it once a year without worry for the life of your car. Opinions?

Accurate thickness measurements would need to be taken over the life of the car - it's the only true way of knowing regardless of the products used.  I own polishes ranging from P1000 all the way down to P8000...I'm not guessing my way through any of them...
