Adams on the water...

Bought a used bass boat (2001) and spent the better part of Labor Day weekend cleaning it up. First pic was before I bought it - good shape but needed some TLC.

Process:

Vacuumed interior.

Interior cleaned with APC, LIC and waterless wash.

Interior protected with leather conditioner and SVRT.

Cleaned wheels, fenders and trailer with various brushes, soap, and APC.

Foamed and washed with APC and soap mix.

Decon with clay alternative.

SVRT on trim and rubber.

Waxed with Americana (man this stuff made the gel coat pop).

I love the way it turned out and I have gotten so many compliments so far. People cant believe the boat is 12 years old.

This winter I will do a full detail and try to polish out some of the scratches and swirling. For now, I just wanted it to look great and be protected from the elements.

Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.

So seeing how well the water comes off the cars when it rains with Adams, does the boat even touch the water or does it float like a couple of opposing magnets?

I swear it got faster after I waxed it lol. All I know is that it looks amazing. SVRT has worked wonders on the trolling motor pedal and other black plastics that were sun dried and faded. It's so much easier to clean than a car and therefore more enjoyable IMO.

Thanks guys. Caught ten on my first trip this weekend, nothing big enough to brag about but had a great time. Water beaded like crazy and it was a breeze to clean up afterwords with a quick waterless wash. To me one of the greatest aspects of detailing is how easy it makes routine maintanence after the initial detail. I recommended Adams to two boaters on the lake this weekend, they both had late 2000 model boats that didn't shine like my shine lol. Adams FTW!
