Damage to Alum. Wheel

Hello:

 

Mt wife brushed a curd with the front wheel on her new  CTS Coupe. Clearly this got below the clear coat, does anybody have any luck trying to fix this?

 

Dealer said "New Wheel"

Without pictures it's a little hard to tell if it's "fixable" or not...

Usually curb rash isn't going to be able to be fixed easily.

There are speciality wheel repair shops, might be able to save it cheaper than a new wheel.

Where I work we have people that come in and fix damage like that.  You can get it repaired.
