ATLDiver
Just signed up here, I'm not an Adams customer yet it I'm planning on being very soon. Coming from other car-care products, I've heard of Adams from word of mouth so I'm looking to change up my experience. Currently, I have two vehicles in my families' stable; both daily drivers. Looking to add a fun car in the not to distant future but for now I'm looking for solutions to everyday drivers with a focus on protection. I've used a competitor's product for years, (starts with a Z) but while the shine was good, the number of steps to get there and lack of long-term protection left me wanting. So far I plan on picking up Adams' paint-restoration system to resolve minor swirl-marks and scratches from everyday wear and tear. What I need some help on, is deciding between your sealants, glazes and waxes. I'm pretty sure I want to use either your machine sealant or quick sealant to lock in protection, the vehicles don't get washed very often (run through the car-wash monthly,) so protecting the paint and clear-coat is essential. I do like shine of course and am concerned the sealant may not be shiny enough for my tastes so my question is, can I apply glaze and/or the Carnuba wax over the sealant? Can I have my cake and eat it too? Edited September 8, 2013 by ATLDiver

ATLDiver
Sean! Yes you can have your cake and eat it too! Good deal, that's what I gathered from the videos but I didn't see Adam or Dylan specifically mention the sealants when talking about glazing/waxing. Are there any special cure times required in a multi-step process like that, (i.e 24-hours?)

mc2hill
First off, Welcome Sean! Are there any special cure times required in a multi-step process like that, (i.e 24-hours?) Yes, with MSS you should wait 12-24 hours before topping it. I usually apply the glaze and wax after the next post MSS wash. The 'cure' time with QS is only 30 minutes.

I thought I knew the in's and out's of car-care with personal experiance but after reading on this fourm for a while I know that was incorrect.
