IOS Always Runs When Used Externally

Even when used lightly, how can I make this stop? What in the keck am I doing wrong? I'm using it exactly as Dylan, Adam, and Mook demonstrate... Quick, short bursts from 10-12" away, only in places the block and SVRT can't reach. It inevitably runs during next rain, especially roof racks, emblems, bumper step guards, mirrors, etc. any help is greatly appreciated!

I had a problem with it doing that on my truck for a while. Then I tried going over it with a microfiber after letting it sit for a few minutes and haven't had a problem since. Plastics still look great.

I was having this issue with the plastics on my TBSS. Everytime it rained the IOS would streak down on to the black paint. The next time I corrected the truck I cleaned the plastics with a brush really well to get anything off that was on there prior. Next time the IOS streaked but not as bad.

 

So then I decided to spray the plastics with QS which made them look like new and also never streaked and beaded like crazy!

I haven't noticed any IOS streaking yet, but I like the QS idea.  Gonna have to try that...

+2 QS works wonders on roof rails.

I've pretty much retired the IOS at this point in favor of the SVRT milk. I can spray it into places the IOS would normally be used and wipe up the excess with a MF towel.
