NEW! Merino Wool Wash PAD... not a mitt...

Team Adam's

Question

We took a long hard look at how customers were using the Merino Wool Wash Mitt and realized that very few people actually put their hands inside. It made it difficult to flip the pad over without twisting your arm an awkward way, it also felt kind of gross inside.

Taking that feedback into consideration, we removed the wrist cuff and produced the NEW Merino Wool Wash PAD. Still made from the same luxurious, authentic 100% merino lambs wool... but now a wash pad.

As with the previous version, merino wool supplies run short so grab one before they're sold out!

NOTE: If you've been waiting for a backordered Merino Wool Mitt, your backorder will be shipped today to include the pad design instead. Thank you for your patience and your business!

I use mine as a pad and can't remember having shoved my hand up inside it, but since it's an animal hide how will the inside dry if it's sewed shut?

I hang mine by the cuff on a cloths line in the garage after use and make sure it's open to allow air to flow in. Still it takes considerably longer to dry than a synthetic one.

Hmmm.  Love the smaller 9X9 wash pads that last me quite a long time (i.e., years), but have been always intrigued by the Merino version (minus the cuff that thankfully is removed).  How long do these merinos last if well taken care of?  Do they dreadlock like the wash pads?(trying to justify paying triple the cost of my trusty 9X9s)

They do dreadlock to a degree... any wash media will over time if its a long thin fiber... just need to comb it out regularly.

The benefit of the merino is that it will out last the synthetic wash pads by a pretty good amount... you should be replacing the synthetics 1-2x per year... I'm still on my original merino.

As am I on the original Merino...I think I am over 70 washes on it now.  GREAT durability!
