Pad under the hood 2001 Corvette Convertible

I recently purchased a 2001 corvette that was in need of some good cleaning. I have been working on the engine bay, interior, and all the rubber seals with my Adams products and its a big improvement.

 

My question is under the hood there is a black pad that has some white discoleration on it. Almost looks like a salt stain but I am pretty sure the car hasn't been driven in the snow/winter. What could I use to clean and make that pad POP/look like new.

I would use APC and a soft brush........Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaning Brush

I would let it dry good then take a look at it.....I have never applied anything to mine, you could try In & Out Spray.

I never cleaned my 02's hoodliner.  I just used a brush and vacuum.  You can pop it off and give it a good cleaning or vacuuming, but most times you'll bust the pins that hold it in place. If you bust a couple, you can get replacements at Lowes.
