Beemer
I'm sure they are great cars but they just look like every other sedan on the road right now.

Rich
Very nice car specs, but they sure missed the mark on the styling. Should have maybe even made it more like my CTS. And 4 DOOR? WTH? Should have been a coupe!
07RS4
Sounds like a moped flooring it at :20, and the guy gets all excited, haha.
RonBoy
I am a fan, agree with Rich that it should have been a coupe. Maybe next year a Monte will be let out of the gate. Nice platform for a luxury performance coupe. Rich

Chewy
IMO, it's not bad for the money. It sucks that it's ONLY available with the A6, but that's where cars are headed. The LS3 is a great motor and the Commodore is a great car. I'm happy I kept my G8 seeing that I can put a LOT into it and still not have half of what a new SS costs. The tech in the new car would be nice however. Coupes are great and all, but they just don't sell anymore. I think we saw that with the GTO. If you want a coupe, buy a Camaro or Mustang. Agree'd as a 06 GTO owner. while it is a great car the market was all wrong. possibly shouldn't have ever been called a gto. while its a great car there are days esp now with the kids where i wish i had a G8... however when i need a break from the lady and the kids theres nothing like hoping in and bang thru the m6
Periodic
Really missed the mark on the styling.
MAYBEN
they're not bad.. I agree with Chris about the tech, there's a few things I wish my G8 had to be more up-to-date.. ie: Bluetooth Audio (music), Navigation, newer OnStar w/ mobile app, etc
Marylander
I like them. I think they'll be great for their target audience, which is family guys in their late 40s-50s that want a good performing car that doesn't scream boy-racer or snooty import. GXPaycheck
If they sell well, I really hope for he manual to be a future option, along with the LT1 engine, magnetic ride control, sport truck, and station wagon! Some folks complain about the price point, but a new 2014 G8 GXP with the same electronics wouldnt be much different. I think the car has the potential to impact CTSV sales if it gets too many good options. I'm still waiting to sit in one though! If the butt don't fit, I will find something else! Yep, you'll only see one chevy get options like a Cadillac in most cases and that's the Corvette. They're closer now than ever on the other models, but still, the Chevrolet tends to be the "economy" line for GM. Less now due to the shake up and loss of Pontiac and Olds IMO. If they put mag struts and such on it, it'd be cutting into CTS sales which they don't want. I'll keep my G8! For the money, I can't lose. Plus, I have the GXP nose sitting in my garage waiting for paint. YAY! Mongosg8, MAYBEN and Rich
Rich
I'll keep saving for a CTS-V wagon. Have you SEEN the 2014 CTS? That thing is FUGLY! Looks like an old school Cadillac instead of new style. Glad I got my CTS when I did. No more 2 doors being made. Sometimes I question what the guys at GM are thinking. Keep Buick.....but get rid of Pontiac. Brain dead in Detroit.
