PC or Cyclo

gdwenger

Question

In another thread Chewy stated "IMO, you can't do a proper correction with just the Flex. For the small areas, you need the PC or Cyclo."

I have to agree. This past year I upgraded from a PC to the Flex and sold the PC. Didn't feel this was a bad decision at the time but now finding out how much it add to the correction process.

So the question is what's the best option for those small areas? Would you purchase a PC or a Cyclo?

Cyclo has a much higher correction rate than the PC with the 4" pad. I was able to achieve more correction in one pass of PCP and PFP on foam pads with the Cyclo than I was with 3 passes using Menz FG400 on a 4" orange pad with the PC.

Also comes down to budget, too.  A PC with a 4" pads can be found for cheap - a Cyclo, not so much.  Don't forget to factor in the cost of pads, too.

I would say that if you're looking for a secondary tool to squeeze into tight spots to go with a PC and 4" pads.

The cyclo is an awesome USA made tool, but I haven't used one so I can't say how good or bad it is. I do know the PC is a great tool though, and easy to get into semi tight areas. That being said, I don't think there are any areas on the G8 that the Cyclo couldn't get to.

Remember the lifetime warranty you get when you buy from Adams. Not to mention the Americans you put to work making the Cyclo.
