A photo would be helpful.

I wonder: is the microfiber towel you're using introducing these scratches? Or is there some residual (abrasive) polish in the MF towel that is "undoing" the final (less abrasive) polish?

I dont want to hurt the lights. Esp when the car has 700 miles on it and these tail lights cost 1000 bucks.

Are these OEM or aftermarket? If the latter, contact the mfg. and ask them what they recommend. If OEM contact your dealer and ask their detail dept. what they recommend/use.

Sub'd and I would definately like to see pics if you can.

I would have suggested the black pad and PFP...crazy that it is even marring the surface.  IF you've tried everything adams and your still getting marring....you could try Menz 4500 and a red pad...that's about as least aggressive as you can get.  Just a thought.

Good advice Kovacs...something to think about...
