Removing Rubber From The Track

Question

Hey Guys.

Curious if anyone has any tips on removing track dirt and stuck-on tire rubber chunks from paint without hurting it.

I have a good bit of left over rubber on the lower bedsides of my truck and I've tried a little bit of everything to get them off. A clay bar will get the pieces off but get's packed up with the pieces and I don't want to end up scratching up the paint.

I've heard WD-40 may also help (I know this is an Adams Forum), But haven't tried it.

So...?
