Great White Question

Question

In the summer time when I would wash my car it would only take 1 great white to do the job. Picked the water right off my car. I washed my car yesterday and it was high 30's and the towel wasnt grabbing the water as good as it usually does ( it was like moving the water around and heavy streaking ).  It that a case because of the temperature? All of my other towels ( Double and single soft, glass towels) all preformed the the same as they always do.  Is there a certain way to treat the Great White in colder temperatures or is it possible that I need to boil them from all the use they saw in the spring and summer?

Any help and suggestions would be great!!

Temperature of the panel, water, etc and the pores of the towels maybe...closing a bit because of the cold?  Sounds reasonable.  I've had it with other Waffle's where that initial wipe just kind of smears the water a bit, once it gets damp you'll be fine.
